Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune is a constituent of Symbiosis International deemed to be University (SIU). SIT is the flagship institute of SIU. The Institute is currently accepting applications for BTech, BTech (LE) and MTech programmes. In 2019, the institute was ranked 1st among Emerging Private Colleges of the Century and 2nd among Private Engineering Colleges in West Zone by India Today. Apart from this, the institute was also ranked 1st among Private Engineering Colleges in Pune and 3rd among Private Colleges in Maharashtra by Outlook.
It currently offers BTech programme in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering and MTech programme in Computer-Aided Design and Manufacture, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering. SIT Pune BTech Admission 2022
The University offers a full-time four-year BTech programme, consisting of eight semesters. BTech is offered in five different specializations. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the scores obtained in any of the entrance exams. The total seat intake is 540. The name of the specializations along with their eligibility criteria are mentioned below:
Apart from the four-year BTech programme, the institute also offers admission to BTech (Lateral Entry) programme with a course duration of three years. Final merit list of selected candidates will be based on the scores obtained in the diploma. Eligibility criteria for the same is as follows:

SIT Pune Application Process 2022
Candidates applying for BTech programme need to pay a registration fee of Rs 2,000 for SIT EEE. The registration for SIT EEE is done through the official website of SET. Follow the below-mentioned steps for the online registration of BTech programme:
Visit the official website of SET, www.set-test.org
Register and fill SIT EEE application form
Submit the application form along with a passport-size photograph
Pay an application fee of Rs 2,000 online via debit/ credit cards or net banking
Attend counseling round for the final selection of students

Marksheet of Class 10 and Class 12
Certificate of Class 10 and Class 12
Graduation degree and certificate (if required)
Post Graduation degree and certificate (if required)
Character certificate
