About SIT

Symbiosis Institute of Technology, a constituent of Symbiosis International University was established in the year, 2008 and currently offers B. Tech programmes in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Robotics & Automation and M.Tech programmes in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Robotics & Automation and Embedded Systems. Research programmes leading to Ph. D. Degree were introduced in the Faculty of Engineering of Symbiosis International University in 2010.

• Library
  SIT, Pune's Library has an active collection of about 11,000+ documents which is in the form of books, journals, e-journals, reports and other reading resources. The library uses KOHA, the web centric library management software. The library provides spacious and well lit reading hall with 250 seating capacity. Library displays the latest books acquired in the library, for a week on the display board. The periodical section displays the latest volumes of international, national journals and magazines. The library also gives access to Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC).
• Cafeteria
  SIT, Pune has a Symbi food court includes a traditional low priced cafeteria, Café Coffee Day (CCD) and a Juice Bar. The cafeteria serves snacks, beverages, breakfast and lunch with a variety of items which suit the needs of students. Frequent random checks are carried out to ensure that the food served by the food court is hygienic, tastes good and is made from good quality ingredients. Spacious building of the food court with good modern furniture and pleasant weather of Pune combined together to make it place where students eat together and indulge in healthy interactions.
• Hostel
  SIT, Pune's hostel rooms are spacious with natural light and ventilation. Each room has an attached toilet and bathroom. Each student is provided with a steel cot, a study table and chair and a mattress. All hostels have secure Wi-Fi internet connectivity through high end firewall and common TV lounge with cable connection on the ground floor of each hostel building.
