About Sinhgad

Established in 1996, Sinhgad College of Engineering is a private institute affiliated with the University of Pune. A NAAC ‘A’-graded college, SCOE has also been accredited by the NBA and approved by the AICTE. Sinhgad College of Engineering offers 27 specializations across four courses, with eight under the B.Tech course, 14 under the M.Tech course, one under MBA and four under PhD. Candidates interested in applying for B.Tech need to pass 10+2 in the Science stream with 50% marks. For selection, they have to take the MHT-CET. Candidates from outside Maharashtra have to take the JEE- Main. For admission to MTech, the institute invites B.Tech holders with 50% marks. Selection is based on performance in the GATE.

SCOE offers a Business Management specialization under the MBA course. Candidates can apply if they have a Bachelor’s degree in any field. Eligible candidates have to take the MAH-CET, CAT, or MAT for selection.

There are eight specializations under the B.Tech course offered by SCOE. Interested candidates should have passed 10+2 with 50% marks aggregate. For selection, they have to take the MHT-CET or the JEE-Main. The total student intake is 960. The civil engineering, computer engineering and electronics and telecommunication engineering branches are available in the second shift.

How to apply for JEE- Main?

• Visit the official website of JEE- Main
• Register for the online application form
• Make a note of the system-generated application number
• Create a password l Log in again and fill out the form
• Upload scanned images of photographs and signature
• A fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI or Paytm.
• Keep a printout of the application form for future use.

How to Apply for MHT- CET?

Candidates enrolling for a B Tech course have to sit the MHT- CET. For filling the application form, follow the steps given below:

• Fill out the online application form at DTE website.
• Upload scanned copies of necessary papers.
• A fee of 800 INR (600 INR for reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
• Keep a print of the form for verification.

65% of the seats are reserved for MHT-CET candidates (that is, residents of Maharashtra). The rest is reserved for JEE-Main takers. Students who qualify the entrance examination will have to go for a Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
